Fishing Report – Winter Steelhead 2011 – 2012

The winter steelhead season is underway and I am pleased to see things shaping up for the months to come. There is a good mix of winter and summer runs in the river from top to bottom with the main run of fresh ones from the falls down and the bulk of summer runs in the upper river above the falls. December offers some great action with fish coming in everyday and with water conditions leveling off it gives us some planning where we fish each day. For multiple day trips if you want to check out the lower and upper river we are able to fish above the Ash confluence till December 31st. Dates are beginning to drum up interest and you won’t want to miss out on memories the Stamp has to offer. We offer groups for 6 anglers with our 18 and 17 foot jet boats powered by Suzuki outboards. Top quality equipment ensures hassle free fishing. For lower water levels later in the season or bigger groups our brand new 16ft Willie drift boat will get the job done. Call today to plan your trip.
