How could we resist doing a little showing off over our lunch break on shore. Perfect conditions made for an ideal day on the river. The cloud cover made it easier to spot the schools of salmon and made it pretty exciting watching them be played.

Judging by their smiles, the rain REALLY couldn’t dampen their spirits. With a pair of monsters like these ones, who wouldn’t be smiling! The rain isn’t always a bad thing either. These salmon are sometimes a bit shy, but bring on a good rain and they really start biting aggressively.
